Wetland Restrictions
This data layer shows all areas in the City of Newton that are registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts under the Inland Wetlands Restriction Act (M.G.L. c. 131, § 40A.) The restrictive orders for these wetlands have been recorded at the Registry of Deeds. The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) lists applicable restrictive orders on its website.
